WHO: SAYS Soccer provides a Premier Summer, Indoor and Spring soccer program which promotes a Fun and Competitive environment for boys and girls who are ages 4 to 18 in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties.  We also have a Select program available by try-out only.

WHEN: The Premier Spring Season begins in March and runs to June with most games played at the SAYS SOCCER COMPLEX in the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.  The season consists of at least 10 games. Most games are played on Saturdays and some occasional games on Sundays. Some teams may travel up to 30 miles one-way to play a game.

EARLY-REGISTRATION begins January 12, 2013.  We require ORIGINAL birth certificate for all new players, a completed registration form, and signed Kids Zone form with the appropriate registration fee.

OPEN REGISTRATION begins January 13, 2013  Your child will be on a waiting list and placed on a team on a first come first served basis.  We cannot assure team placement nor will any special requests be honored.  The registration fee is increased to $45 per player.

TEAM CONFIGURATION: All teams are co-ed and must have at least 1 girl.  Returning teams must have at least 3 new players on their roster to SAYS Soccer on a yearly basis in an attempt to guarantee team competitiveness.  We cannot promise a team for all players, as this is an ALL VOLUNTEER league and we depend on volunteer coaches.  If your child is placed on a team without a coach, please feel free to coach so that all of the children have an opportunity to play.

REFUND POLICY: If you register and your child does not play – for whatever reason – you may request a partial refund (amount paid minus a $25 service charge) up to the start of the first game of the season.  Refunds will not be given if your child participates in any practice with a team.  Please submit your request in writing and please include your current contact information (your name, your child’s name, date of birth, address, and phone number).

COACHES are volunteers.  We always have more players than coaches so please feel free to volunteer.

VOLUNTEERS: This is an all-volunteer league and any time you can give would be greatly appreciated.  NO SOCCER KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED!  We will train you; we also provide certification through state and national instructors.

INDIVIDUAL TEAM EXPENSES: Some teams request an additional fee to cover various items (i.e. uniforms, banners, parties, etc).  This is permitted by SAYS Soccer but please speak directly with your child’s coach.

SPONSORS are always welcomed.  Most teams have an individual team sponsor that assists with some of the team expenses to defray the additional expenses.  If you or your company wishes to become involved with the team or SAYS Soccer, please contact your coach or a member of the Board of Directors.

FUNDRAISING is an important part of our program.  ALL families are required to participate.  Individual team fundraising is allowed, however, the team must receive permission from the SAYS Board of Directors first.  Any team fundraising DOES NOT replace the league’s fundraiser.

SAYS COMPLEX is our complex and we need EVERYONE’S help to keep it clean.  Please remember to clean up after players and ourselves.  Remember that “It’s 4 the Kids” and there is NO alcohol, smoking, or drugs permitted.
